Liquid Ship
Pub/Restaurant remodel
Part of the Chip/Stravaigin local chain.
MIG was asked to remodel the pub with a new façade and redesign the ground and lower level.
The frontage was fitted out with large wooden framed window panels, to let the light stream in for a more spacious feel, offering views on the bustling city life.
At ground floor level the space was designed and optimised for a bar and restaurant area with a cosy nautical interior giving the snug pub-cum-style bar a comfortable feel. A few passing references to the nautical theme are the aqua walls, subtle lighting, soft leather sofas, rigging imagery, ferry style seating and a ship's wheel.
The lower ground level was redesigned with a second bar, offering venue space for performances and private functions.
